Which feminists do you know? Anyone can call themselves a feminist, but it isn't simply an attitude. True feminists are people who devote themselves entirely to advancing the cause of women. Professional feminists are in fact critical of Islam and its treatment of women. I'm not sure exactly who you are talking with, but if you know something they don't, bring it to their attention. Tell them how awful it is to be a woman in a place like Saudi Arabia, or how "honor killings" of women are an epidemic in Muslim countries. The more knowledgeable you are, the easier it is to combat the ignorance of others.

I'm critical of all religions. Nearly all of them oppress women in some way, and if it's not sexist oppression, religion still is like a drug.

religion is a human capability, not a pharmaceutical alteration of brain functions.
on the topic of feminists and islam, man....I WISH they didn't go after islam. College is unfortunately full of feminism (I suspect because it lends itself to pseudo intellectuality) and if I had a buck for every rant they give on islam and the middle east I could pay off my tuition. -
