Honestly, I don't think it is taken seriously enough. Anyone who lays a finger on a child or their significant other should automatically go to jail. We have mandatory minimum sentences for drug users (which is bulls---), so we might as well have mandatory minimum sentences for people who actually pose a f---ing threat to others.

There's also a severe lack of domestic abuse shelters for men. It's like women can't be the abuser or something. -sarcasm-

Not to impose this ridiculous idea of mine to you AnimePhan, but I think the idea of hurting someone will doubtless always be considered "bad", so it just doesn't click with me when you say "in a bad way." Do you think it's possible to hurt someone in a good way?

Domestic means at home. Plus parents abuse their child which counts as domestic abuse. It's wrong and disgusting.
