Why? I get that you don't like his way of doing thing but put yourself in his shoes. He's president. He has to deal with alot of crap. It's not easy. So shut up about the "he stalks us from the internent" crap. Conspiracys, people. Anyway, some of you make your hatred for him personal, but you don't actually know him as a person. If you're gonna complain, please do it in a respectful, non-petty way. Thank you.

Overall I think Obama has done a pretty good job. He was never going to be a "game changer" the way everyone thought he would be when he came into office. I think you basically said it all, he can't be liked by everybody, and he can't think about that. He has to make tough decisions on a daily basis that we can't even fathom. And he has shown some real balls at times. He easily could've folded on health care, but he got it through Congress. The Bin Laden wasn't 100%, but he went for it anyway and we got Bin Laden because of it. Resolute, bold leadership like that is the hallmark or any effective president.
But yeah, there is definitely a lot of personal vitriol towards him, a lot of which I can only attempt to explain. Part of it is race, part of it is the economic issues in this country that have left a lot of people looking for an easy target.
I'll also concede that, despite my intense dislike for many of his policies, every I just said about Obama can be applied to former president Bush. -
The debt. It increased a ton.

It has. But he is our president and for now there is nothing we can do about it.

@Geek: The annual budget deficit under Obama has actually been smaller on average than the average annual deficit under Bush. The national debt is a big issue, but every president since FDR has been adding to it. It isn't going to go away easily. It is impossible to say the debt is all Obama's fault or that it is his fault that the debt hasn't been paid off. Also Congress has been unable to agree on ways to reduce the debt or the deficit, so there really isn't a lot that can currently be done.

His policies are mediocre. But I think all of them in the government are quite mediocre.

I never said bush was good. Heck since clinton they've all been fairly crappy budgetwise.
One thing.
Obama did need to be ellected first time as McCain was a bloody idiot who was gonna get the US blown up.
The 2nd time however was crappy idea due to national debt exploding. -
I'd rather have McCain than Romney.

McCain was going to pretty much start war against the whole of the middle east.

The other president's have made more debt then obama. It just built up and he was elected at an unlucky time. I don't appreciate people going "He's so stupid... what a b****" or stuff like that. If you're gonna act like a spoiled child, try being president. Yeah, you'll see how hard it is.
