Nope, you heard right. Texas f---ing banned tampons. But you can still buy a gun without a background check, bring it home the same day, and need take only a 3-hour gun safety class.

Well isn't that nice that it doesn't affect you, Geek.
Texas is a nice state, and I don't use tampons either (pads instead). Doesn't mean I agree with a government making a law against them. It's not the government's damn business what a woman uses for period hygiene.
But Texas girls, just bleed on everything those a--holes love. ;3 Even the score. -
The ban on tampons was only to enter the Senate chamber, but they also banned diabetic supplies! you can enter with a gun but a pad or tampon is a big no no. Apparently legislatures were afraid that the feminine hygiene products could have been used as projectiles...
