Even the Russians know already before Americans figure it out? How do I know? With communication on a Russian site for Russians, a political man on the site told me that Russian government put on the news that Obama is selling guns to Al Quada. Al Quada actually told the Russian government that Obama is selling guns to him.
Stunning, huh? -
First, get your facts straight. It isn't Obama that is selling weapons to them, it's private military contractors that our government gives money to.
Second, this is not "stunning". It's awful, but it should come as no surprise. American companies like Lockheed Martin have been selling weapons to Al Qaeda for as long as Al Qaeda has been in operation.
Third, the UN recently enacted a resolution to keep weapons-making companies from selling to terrorist organizations. Because this is technically a treaty, it has to be voted on by the Senate. Our own Senate rejected the resolution. So not only is it an open secret that American military contractors sell to Al Qaeda, it is something that a majority of our elected representatives actually support!
That my friend truly is stunning. And incredibly f---ed up. -
Also the Russian media says whatever the government tells them, otherwise they die. I personally think Russia just wants to start a lot of s--- with us, especially since it is so well known that they are giving weapons to Syria's government, and our government has called them out on it. If Russia's government is trying to tell their people that our government is giving weapons to Al Qeada, it is only in an effort to save face and distract the Russian people from knowing the truth about their government.

It wouldn't surprise me either way, but I doubt russia would be looking for a fight with the U.S. unless they have some plans to rehash the old hegemony agreement..but given the state of our hegemonic cycle I'd say we're past that kind of thing.
