Damask NoviceIf you get pregnant, that's your own fault. You'll have to suffer the consequences. If you get raped, I'm sorry to hear that. It sucks. I'm sorry to have to give birth and all that crap. But you don't have to murder someone over it! It is God's child and you shouldn't kill it. There's this thing called 'adoption'! That child could've been the one to cure heart attacks. Or cancer. Or anything. That child could've been the world's next president who got out country out of debt. But that child isn't. Why? Because you just murdered it.

Damask NovicePeople these days are so lucky to have what they do and they take all of that for granted. Including babies. In he biblical times, a child was a blessing. You wouldn't drown a newborn baby, would you? Abortion's the same thing. It's not developed YET, but it will eventually and it will grow into a beautiful baby. You are not just killing cells, you are killing a CHILD! What would God think of this? If he was in this forum chatting right now? What would he think of this? I think some of you people need to open your bible and read.

Yes because I will totally go through nine months of agony to give birth to a rapists baby and then give it away after I've formed some-motherly-attachment from it (which is what happens after birthing the child) sometimes.
Pregnancy should not be a punishment. -
I think I have pointed out this shocking fact before, but there may be some new users, so it is worth repeating.
The Republican Party platform in the 2012 election called for banning abortion in cases of rape AND banning in vitro fertilization.
In other words: if you want a child but are unable to conceive, you can't have a baby. If you are raped and become pregnant, you MUST have a baby.
Let that sink in. These people run the country. I don't know about you, but I find that all to be really f---ing fascist. -
This might puzzle you, but we don't live in a theocracy. It's okay to have a religion, but not everyone lives by "God's divine law."
And in countries where they do, women are oppressed because "God said so."
In the biblical times, a child was a blessing because healthcare was s--- and that's the only thing women, seen as private property, were valued for. If they didn't have children, they were seen as a worthless piece of s---. -

A newborn is legally and biologically a person. A fetus is not. Anti-abortion is not pro-life, it is pro-unborn.

In UK the laws are you can have an abortion up to when it's 6 months. I know people who have been incredibly premature and born before that and survived.
And no they are not a sack of cells. -
sure, it we can call it a baby if you like.
But I don't think it would make a difference whether it was a baby, or an adult, because inherently neither of them have any more value then the mother. -
Thats assiming the mother is at serious risk.

Come to think of it. If a girl has a baby she doesn't want and knows she's not ready to raise, and if the baby is born he'd have a horrible life because of these situations (mother doesn't want him and isn't ready to raise a kid, doesn't have a father or his father doesn't want him, they don't have enough money and know nothing about parenting etc), I think "murdering" him is the best option here.
By giving birth to an unwanted child, three lives will be destroyed; The mother's, the father's and the child's future life.
By "murdering" him, the child will have a quick death and will never be born, but on the other hand, the 18 years old mother won't have to spend the best years of her life taking care of
and raising a child she doesn't want and the child won't have to deal with the feeling of being unliked and unwanted for the rest of his life, not mentioning two bad parents.
Abortion must be legally available for up to 9 months. The true murderer here is the government, murdering three people's lives. -
I just want to stab people who say "You shouldn't kill a child because it's god's!!! It's forbidden!". Idiots. Yes, f---ing idiots.

Something to add, if abortion in 6 months or more is gory or painful for the child, isn't there some sort of syringe to do it with? There should be painless ways.
