I'm pretty sure you guys would be against animal cruelty too. So this thread is about saving poor animals' lives and finding them good homes. Seriously, how could someone purposely hurt an animal?

tongue NewbieIf you really want to do something, you should join Humane Society of America or ASPCA- they both do great work in rescuing abused animals. That's probably about all that can be done- you really can't keep people from hurting animals. Luckily animal cruelty is a criminal offense almost everywhere in the United States.

I hate animal cruelty, what did those poor animals do to deserve such treatment? People who do that are worse than the animals themselves.

tongue NewbieWe need to learn to have a certain respect for all forms of life. Obviously human life is more important- I'd eat a cow but I wouldn't eat a human, at least if I didn't absolutely have to. But I think that not abusing animals is a pretty good definition of respect for all life, as well as not abusing human life.

Yeah you're right tongue, it's just disgusting to see any form of life that's being abused, especially one that is weaker and can't speak for itself. If someone is willing to hurt and abuse an animal who's to say this person isn't a threat to all other forms of life.

I honestley have no problem with seeing humans be killed, and yes, I'd eat a human.
