tongue NewbieYou guys throw around the word "hypocricy" way too casually without really having a basis for such complaints. Here's real hypocrisy: a political party full of people who claim to stand for family values when they aren't cheating on their spouses; a congressman who condemns pedophilia who happens to be sexually harrasing underage pages; a Senator who calls homosexuality sinful when he isn't solicitating gay sex in an airport bathroom; and a TV pundit who decrees himself a "culture warrior" while participating in an extramarital game of "Hide the Loofa". I am of course refering to the Republican Party as well as Mark Foley, Larry Craig, and Bill O'Reilly. And that's just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to right-wing hypocricy.

There is also plenty of hypocrisy found on the left too. How many liberals actually practice affirmative action. How many liberals out there would give up their job to a minority so more minorities would have jobs? Not very many probably. They bashed Bush for the bailouts despite the fact that just as much, if not more Democratic senators voted for the bailouts than Republicans did even though that "conservative" as he called himself Bush signed it in. Al Gore talks about conservation and the environment but has a private jet and a huge electricity bill. Hillary Clinton is for letting teenage girls getting abortions without the permission of their parents but didn't let her daughter get piercings and had her on a strict curfue. Micheal Moore bashes the rich yet makes millions of dollars. There is hypocrisy on the right too. Let's not forget our old friend Mark Sanford, and everyone tongue just mentioned.

tongue NewbieYou have a point Joe, but let's not bash Michael Moore for making money. If you want to make him out as a hypocrite, bring up the fact that he has his films edited in Canada to sidestep unions in America. Also a better one for Hillary Clinton is that she sent her daughter to a Catholic school that didn't have access to birth control. As for my friend Nancy Pelosi, she supposedly hires illegal immigrants to work at her vineyard. I forgive Moore and Pelosi for their inconsistencies because I believe they are trying to make this country a better place, and because their hypocricy is insignifigant to the hypocricy of the right in my opinion. As for Hillary Clinton, she can suck my nads.
