Wesley sat down next to Lucas, and put his hands in his lap.

"Heheh, hey Lucas! Long time no see!" Said one of the guests, who was probably already a bit tipsy. "Who's your friend there?" The blonde boy looked up and greeted them shyly. "Oh, this is Wesley. He's staying with us for a while." "Nice to meet you then, Wesley." The guests waved to both the boys kindly.

Wesley nodded shyly and stared at his folded hands.

The food was served, a wonderful Italian-style pasta. Lucas smiled, it was one of his favorite foods.

Wesley stared at the food that was placed in front of him, his mouth watering at the sight and smell.

Everyone began eating, Lucas placing the napkin in his lap and began as well.

Wesley, never having used a fork in his life, just say there, knowing it wouldn't be good for him to dig in with his hands.

Lucas noticed Wesley wasn't eating, and turned to him to whisper quietly. "What's wrong?"

"I've never used a fork before.." Wesley whispered.

Lucas nodded softly, thinking how to show him without making it obvious in front of the guests. He shyly took Wesley's hand under the table, trying not to be awkward, and held the fork in his friend's hand. "That's how you should hold it, and use it to scoop the food. Also..." He took his own fork and showed how to twirl it to turn the noodles onto the fork. "You can do that to keep the noodles from falling off."

Wesley nodded, embarassed on how much he didn't know. He twirled the noodles onto his fork, and put it in his mouth. The food was absolutely amazing.

Lucas wasn't bothered, and went back to eating his own food.

Tray ate about half his meal, when his stomach began to protest. He couldn't eat anymore.

Lucas did about the same, putting his napkin to the side of his plate. "Papa, may we please be excused? It is getting rather late." "Ja, go ahead you two, if you're getting tired. Sleep tight." He thanked his father and got ready to leave with Wesley.
