Love is like summer. Warm like those long summer days. Cheerful like your smile. Inviting like your arms. And amazing like your eyes. Summer is like you. Warm, kind and fun. But as seasons change so do you. You started to slip away. Sending cold shivers down my spine. Warm summer days turned to long windy days announcing fall. The coldness you gave off was raw as you slipped further away causing the fall to change drastically to winter. The trees found its death as so did my heart. A white blanket covered the ground as scars covered my arm. The ground was frozen as my mind was too with only thoughts of you. The days grew dark quickly and the light was seen too far away. You brought my hopes up every time but then left as the sun went to hide. Winter was never ending, like a song kept on replay.
