You're asking the wrong person because I've been trying to do that for a while now. I really do not know. Hopefully when you escalate in life, you'll forget about them. It will take some time, yes. Or if you really want to detach yourself from them, think about how they made you suffer. You don't want to be with one that constantly puts you down. Find reasons why the friendship didn't work, hopefully that would make you understand and move on.
Getting over a friend is hard af. But hey, you cared. Maybe they didn't as much and you're better off with people who do care. -
