@Emily there's the type of music and then there's the attention whores that want to be all, "I cut and I leik black. Im soooo emo and depressed. Give me attention!!!!!! I'm gonna go kill myself cuz every1 h8s me 4 being emo" It is not a stereotype, it's a misconception because people are morons and can't get their damn facts straight.
