Thread Topic: I'm thinking about doing something crazy next year

My school offers courses in French and Chinese. And next year I'll be able to take like 3 electives since I'll be done with P.E. (I can replace a study hall with another class). I'm thinking about taking them both. I know, it's two foreign languages, a lot of work. But I could start working on French this year on my own so it makes more sense next year. I can't decide between the two and I have the oppertunity to take them both so idk I really want to do it.

I want to learn French because I live in an area where it is widely spoken and it's a beautiful language. And I want to learn Chinese because it's interesting and could help me a bit when I go to learn Japanese sometime. Plus they both are useful languages.

Sweet lol I want to take Japanese but they don't offer it, so I probably will take Chinese first. But my parents think I should learn French.
