Rainicorn NewbieI have 3 classes with this really cute guy named Austin. In the first class I have with him, he sits behind me. In the second, he sits across the room. Third, across from me.(The rows face each other and he is directly in front of me.) Please note that the classes are consecutive and there's no classes inbetween. I keep catching him look at me, and when I catch him, he just smiles and looks away. Thursaday was the first day this happened, and he only did so in the second and third class we have together. In the first class that day, I asked if I could borrow his pencil until the third class we had, and he let me. Friday he and I were talking most of the first class we had together. The next class we had to write an essay and I finished pretty early, so I just began to look around. Occasionally I would glance in his direction, and there he'd be, looking at me. After I kept catching me, he smiled and looked away. In the third class, we were across from each other and yet again he would be caught looking at me, then he'd smile and look away, just not as much as the last class. He asked me if I was going to the football jamboree that night, and I said maybe.(It was a middle school jamboree and I'm in high school) When I said maybe, he said that I should go.
Now onto today! :D In the first class, we had small conversations here and there. There was about 20 minutes left in the class and suddenly a pencil hit me in the back of the head -_- Just out of instinct, I turned to the person behind me, Austin. He pointed to the guy next to him (named Michael) and so I glared at him(Michael, not Austin.) Michael said sorry, but he didn't stop laughing, which actually shows how sorry he was. I hardly know Michael, so I just threw the pencil back at him and hit his chest (xD bullseye!) Right before I turned around to the front, Austin said "I apologize for his actions. I'm sorry. Forgive him. He's weird." so I said "I can tell." then he said "I'm really sorry. He didn't mean to. Dont be mad. Etc. Etc..." I finally turned around to shut him up xD A few minutes later, the teacher handed back our science fair project ideas, and she signed her initials to show her approval. When Austin got his, he saw her signatured initials and asked me what grade it was(I must admit, it did look like a twisted 98) I explained that it was her signature, then he noticed something else about it. If you covered up a tiny circle on the top, it looked like a... like a... male part xD He was laughing, and I really thought it was kinda funny, but I didn't wanna seem to immature so I just giggled and barely held back the rest of my laughter. He showed some other people and they all laughed then he put it away. In the second and third class, nothing big happened, but he still looked at me, smiled, then looked away plenty of times.
I found out he's a football player on the freshman football team.(The school has 3 FB teams because there are so many people doing football.) Tomorrow we're out of school due to tropical storm/hurricane Isaac and we should he getting bad weather.
What should I do on Wednesday? I have no clue what he think of me :3 He might have a girlfriend-the people that told me aren't sure if it's the same Austin.
Any advice? -

.Don't do anything creepy that will make him want to ignore you or stop talking to you
.Observe his behavior less xP It sounds like you stalk him!
.Try talking to him whenever you can, just don't be aggresive about it
.Compliment something aboout him and begin a conversation
.Act sorta shy. Guys love when a girl is a little timid
.Whatever classes you have together, ask him if he can help you with the homework(even if you don't need help)
.Get to know his friends better. Maybe Michael purposefully threw the pencil at you...
.Don't get your hopes to high. If you do, you'll get to cocky and he won't even want to talk to you.
.Ease into some conversations between him and your friends(if he talks to your friends)
.Since he's on the football team, ask what number he is then go to the games and support him

Yeah, I agree with Gopher.
Talk to him and just be nice. Pretend you're speaking to a friend instead of a potential bf. You'll feel less nervous and be able to get to know him better. It sounds like he may like you. -
