"You want me to hold that for you?" Ivan asked, reaching out for it.

"N-no," he mumbled, his arms shaking as he set it on the table.

"Okay," Ivan said softly.

He got out a few more things, such as eggs and butter. He set those on the table as well. By the time he finished, Giovanni's body was shaking like jello.

Ivan held him. "Are you okay, love? I think you need to sit down."

He nodded, still shaking feverishly. "Okay.."

Ivan picked him up and laid him down on the nearest bed.

He laid there, twitching noticeably and he curled up.

Ivan laid down next to him, and pulled him close to his chest.

He buried his head into Ivan's chest, still shaking.

"What did you plan on making?"

"Just some pancakes.." Gio said.

Ivan nodded. "Oh."

He nodded back, and stared blankly at the pillow.

Ivan caressed his cheek softly. "I'm starting to think I need to take you to the hospital..."
