He frowned a little. "I can stay awake for y-you.."

Ivan looked at him and smiled softly. "Thank you, love." he said and cuddled closer, closing his eyes.

"Welcome.." he squeaked, setting his head on his shoulder once more.

Ivan drifted off very quickly.

Giovanni watched him sleep, thinking that he looked really peaceful.

Ivan's dreams started off fine, just dreaming about Giovanni, and showing him around Russia.

He sighed and counted the dots on the ceiling, feeling a bit at ease.

And then it suddenly turned into a nightmare. Images of Giovanni being murdered before him, of Giovanni killing his parents, of himself killing Gio and his family. He whimpered softly and shook his head slightly.

"Ivan, Ivan," he whispered loudly into his ear, shaking him gently. He became a bit worried.

Ivan shook his head more, but he couldn't seem to wake up. "Make it stop," he whispered over and over again.

Giovanni proceeded to shake him almost roughly, desperately. "Ivan. Ivan." -
Ivan tried the best he could to wake up and finally managed it. He looked straight into Giovanni's eyes as he began to cry once again. He reached up and pulled him into a tight hug.

Giovanni was surprised, but hugged him back in the same tight manner. "Ivan.." he whispered.

There were so many things Ivan wanted to say, but he couldn't seem to form the words. He just let his tears fall upon Giovanni's shoulder.
