"I get these all the time.." he managed to mutter. He clung to Ivan tightly. "Ever since she died.."

"Aww, I'm sorry, Gio. That's horrible."

He sniffled a bit. "It's okay.." he whispered. Finally he felt himself cooling down a bit.

Ivan didn't let him go, just kept holding Giovanni.

He snuggled closely to Ivan, feeling bad that he had scared Ivan like that.

Ivan wished Giovanni didn't have to get those nightmares. Ivan wished he could protect him.

He looked at Ivan with sad eyes. "I'm sorry.." he apologized.

"You don't need to apologize, Gio. It's not your fault."

"It is.. Because.. I can't get over what happened," he said.

"I understand why you haven't, though. You're loss is a hard thing to get over."

He just nodded and kept looking at him sadly, still upset over the whole thing.

"How can I cheer you up? I hate to see you so sad." Ivan said.

"Just.. Just let me know that you love me," Giovanni muttered softly.

Ivan kissed him softly. "I do love you, Giovanni. How could I not?"

He turned bright pink. "I.. I'm just really paranoid.." he squeaked.
