Giovanni kissed him back, blushing a little.

Ivan smiled at him, glad to see he wasn't completed terrified of him at the moment.

The smaller smiled as well, feeling scared but willing enough to take it.

Ivan hugged him again.

Giovanni hugged him as well, not feeling talkative enough to speak.

"Do you wanna try going back to sleep?" Ivan asked.

"Please.." he nodded, his voice very soft.

Ivan nodded and let go of Gio, tucking him into the covers then going back over to the rocking chair. His blanket was still tossed onto it.

Gio went back to sleep after a few minutes of trying to console himself.

Ivan sat in the rocking chair and watched Gio sleep for awhile.

And of course, he started drooling and snoring softly again.

Ivan still thought that Giovanni looked cute when he slept.

Since he knew subconsciously that Ivan wasn't with him, near the end of his sleep he was sprawled over the bed.

Eventually, Ivan did fall asleep.
