"Ivan.." he whispered again, after he had gotten over his crying. "It hurts.."

"What hurts?" Ivan asked, concernedly.

He teared up again, and put his hand over where his heart was supposed to be. "Here.."

That brought tears to Ivan's eyes and he couldn't help himself. he hugged Gio gently, wrapping his arms around him carefully.

He hugged back as well, crying softly onto his shoulder.

He pulled Gio onto his lap, sitting down on the bed.

Giovanni put his head on Ivan's chest, still heaving a bit. -
He rubbed his back in a rhythmic circle.

"I l-love you, I-Ivan.." he cried softly. "I-i'm so s-s-sorry.."

"I love you too, Giovanni. And you don't need to apologize for anything."

"Yes I d-do.." he whispered. "This is all m-my fault.."

"No it's not, love. How about we just try and forget about it?" Ivan suggested.

All he could really do at that point was nod.

Ivan kissed his cheek gently.
