Giovanni teared up a little, both from his fear and from feeling so terrible. "Okay.." he whispered.

Ivan stood up and hugged Giovanni tightly. "Thank you, love." he murmured.

"Welcome," he whispered, patting his back as they hugged.

Ivan didn't let go and just kept hugging him tightly.

At one point, Giovanni just began to weep suddenly.

Ivan was completely surprised. "Giovanni? What's wrong?" he asked worriedly.

"Because you care about me so much," he cried. "And now my entire body hurts and I don't like the doctor you but care enough to force me.."

"I just want to know why you're so sick and what's going on, and what it's going to do. Coughing up blood isn't good, Gio. I should've brought you to a doctor a while ago."

He only nodded. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry."

"Don't apologize," Ivan said softly, rubbing Giovanni's back soothingly.

Bump.

"Okay.." he whispered, still blubbering onto his chest.

Ivan picked up the teddy bear and showed it to Giovanni. "Can Mr. Bear cheer you up?"

Giovanni looked at the bear innocently, seeming almost like a little child. He nodded.

Ivan handed the bear to Giovanni. "I've had him since I can remember. He's always been there."
