Tray nodded. "Okay, so can I take this hoodie off? It's kinda hot..."

"Yes, you really should?" he said, keeping an eye on his father who was approaching.

Tray nodded and took off the hoodie.

His father came and hugged him with a word, then looked at Tray. "Hey, compa. Who might you be?" he asked with a soft grin.

"Umm, I'm Valentino's boyfriend," he said a bit shyly, his ears and tail twitching nervously.

"Oh, really?" he father asked. "Didn't know my son was gay. Is your mother a cat or something?"
Valentino facepalmed. -
Tray blushed and shook his head. "Not that I know of, sir."

"Ooohh okay. I was worried you were conceived from a cat or something. Well, welcome to the family."
Aaannd then Valentino double facepalmed. -

Tray blushed more. "Okay.." -
Valentino went over to grab Tray's hand and squeeze it. "Uhm, dad, where is everyone else?" he asked, seeming a bit twitchy and annoyed. "Oh, they're upstairs."

He smiled and led them both upstairs.

Upstairs, there were two boys talking to each in the cramped hallway. They were nearly identical.
