Uncle Sam is a fictional character. When soldiers would receive food or othe supplies, it would say U.S. on the package, meaning United States. They mixed it up, making it Uncle Sam.

@Icy, Girl I live in the hottest part of South Africa and yes it is burning hot! But cause we are in different hemisperes we are having the oppsite weather, so when your having Summer we are having Winter. So yes, we have sunny days on Christmas
