Thread Topic: I've found a poem about my land written on an old scroll.

Sikuch Yantai NewbieWater as clear and clean as flowing glass,
creating the veins of rivers and streams.
They lead to the center lake, with an overflowing waterfall.
Forests and foliage swallow much of the landscape,
not counting the grasslands as green as envy.
Farms and animals, gardens and orchids all call this place home.
Flowers bloom in an explosion of colors,
like rainbows without the rain.
A sign of peace to all that enter this land, and a hug of welcoming.
But the roses do grow thick, sharp thorns,
and if one tries to pluck the beauty from the land
they will be sent away with this warning, that we do not back down.
Our houses are built from caves and stone,
offering strong shelter and warm livings.
We are all family, and family is the most important thing to us.
This is a poem about the villages of my dear Sue tribe. I could only find the translation in English, though. .3. -
