'Wow...um, no. It's something way better. VAMPIRE! Yes, you are so smart.' By now, Thomas gave up on trying to scare me to death and is now waiting for me to choke up on Noah again.
'Hey, where's your little protector? The guy who kept me from hurting you? What was his name? Oh ya, Noah...' -

I didn't like this "Thomas" character at all. "Hey man, lay off her."

'And who are you? Her little snack that shes saving for later?' He responds.
'I told you, shes not a snack!' I lunge at him, but he catches me by my shoulders.
'Let me go! Let me go!' I scream.
'Noah...' I started out screaming his name, but then whispering at the end as I remembered what Thomas did to him. 'Let me gooo!' -
"Let her go! Can you not hear her?"

Thomas takes out the demonglass knife.'I told you, once he was gone, you were all mine.' He said.
'No! No, no!' I screamed, seeing the knife. -
I take out my own knife and slice his from his hand. "Put her down!"

He drops me, and I grab Annie's hand. 'We're running.' I tell her.

I don't argue and take off with her.

Oh my God, did you see what he had? He had the knife. That knife could kill absolutly anything that isn't completely...human.' I tell her.'Totally harmless to you, of course, but a deathtrap to me.'

"I see. And why is he after you?"

'You know how...in the wild, male horses have to fight over the girls to get a group together? Because there's only so many to have? That's what its like when your a vampire. The boys get to...claim you, i guess... and they gather up a group until they own the entire area.'

'And, we have pairs, so its just a boy and a girl who just kind of hang around. That's what Noah and me were.... and now that Noah is gone, I'm alone...'
