Lelouch.. karma hasn't gotten to you yet. I find.. that when you actually use effort, good things happen eventually. Just wait. It will come back around some day. -
Most effort yields no physical results Lelouch. That is something that everyone comes to terms with. And no amount of positive reinforcement can change that fact. What you need to find is your own motivation. Find results in your own eyes. Don't be discouraged by a fruitless labor. Be empowered by the potential that that labor gives you.

Sun, corruption is a subjective term. You do whatever you feel fits you. That is all that matters. Don't try and fit any outline except the one you make for yourself. Don't worry about living up to someone else's past. Live up to your own present. And be proud of that. It'll take you further in life.

Lelouch, through my experiences with belief structures and religion, I can only say that an idea is only as read as you make it. If you think karma is real, you will find things to justify it. If you don't then you wont. The decision is yours on that one.
