Well. I'm not sure what the thing is or where it officially came from. But in the book a boy becomes a ghosthunter after his father is killed. The thing that killed him took like bites out of him. But I didn't get to find out what it was. But it showed up again an killed two boys and they have to find it, and that's where I was halted in the book. .-.
