(However you want. Since they're the military, it wouldn't benefit them to just take people off the street to use for it. So perhaps you caused some sort of uproar in town, and were taken to jail? That would ensure that they weren't caught using innocent people.)
Ana paused, listening to a second set of footsteps that suddenly appeared within her home. Her eyes grew wide, suprised that the Invisible Ones would send her two friends in one night. That was new.. She usually just shared one friend with the other cursed girl. Her footsteps picked up, and she skidded excitedly to a halt in front of her older friend, the other cursed girl.
"Aka! The Invisible Ones sent us two friends tonight!" she cheered, smiling and still trying to figure out how she glowed like that. -
Rachael sighed and took out her gun, standing in front of the large metal door that separated her from the creatures.
"Ah, so you came, Miss Robinson," an eerie voice boomed behind her. She turned, face to face with a tall general.
"Uh, yeah. You rang, I followed."
The man scrutinized the younger woman, narrowing his dark, ominous eyes at her. "Proceed. They're in there. Nothing to killing them." The general, Williams, knew that everything he said was in fact a bitter lie. This was how they would trick assassins, convicts, and criminals into their trap. Make it seem like they do not know of their dastardly deeds, but instead make them instant meals for the demons.
Williams unlocked the door, a loud creak echoing through the hall. Rachael had to admit, it was very eerie. She blinked once, then stepped inside. Before she could turn around to protest, Williams had slammed the door shut and locked it.
"s---." -
Aka dropped from her meditating stance, lip twitching into a smile.
"Sounds interesting."She replied. -
Ana smiled again, ears perking up at the sound of a slamming door. She sniffed the air around her, and sighed contently.
"She smells wonderful." she murmured, and grabbed gently onto Aka's hand to find their new friend. She could feel her black eyes shifting to red, and forced them back. She was determined to make this friend last longer. -
Rachael shifted uncomfortably on her feet. The room was larger than she had expected... And darker as well. She held her gun in steady hands, pointing it at the darkness in front of her.
-
Aka kept her wings back, and followed, pink hair falling gently to her shoulders.
-
(K, you two are awesome. I just want to point that out. You're both awesome at this. :3)
Leading her out of the room, she followed the scent of the girl, and the sound of her breathing, and headed slowly down the hallways with silent footsteps. While one hand held Aka's, the other traced the patterns on the wall. She smiled at the familiar feeling of it under her fingertips, having memorized everry line and dent and crack in it. -
(^^ Thank you. Might I say you're amazing yourself!)
Rachael gulped, her index finger lingering on the trigger. Just a couple shots... Just a few bullets... A piece of cake... But in the dark? She had no idea how she measured up to these... things. -
Aka's skin glowed slightly, she couldn't fix that.
It came naturally. She followed Ana. -
(Thank you, Alana. ^.^)
She paused as the wall of the hallway fell away, opening up to the room she had been looking for. Her eyes, long accustomed to the dark, drew in every detail of the room in perfect clarity. The crates stacked high everywhere. The desk that had been placed there, in that one place where it really didn't fit. And the girl standing there in the back of it, her hands on a metal thing that had been all too common in the white room from deep in Ana's memories. The cause of much of her pain from that place. She smiled at the girl, unsure of whether she could see it. -
(:3 You're welcome~.)
Rachael's breath caught in her throat. She heard two of the things approaching. Her teeth clattered together as she tried to get a steady grip on the handgun once more. Her body quivered with nerves, causing her to drop the gun. It clattered to the floor, causing her to jump. "s---, s---, s---..." -
Aka's hand glowed, illuminating the darkness.
"Hi."She whispered, looking at Rachael curiously." -
Ana winced at the sound of the metal hitting the ground, and released Aka's hand at last.
"Would you like to play tag with us?" she asked quietly, her eyes fixed on the fire metal. The light from Aka's hand made her much more comfortable, and she let herself glance down at her shadow, very faint, as it played at her feet. -
"W-w-what?" Rachael's voice came out as a small squeak, making her sound vulnerable in every which way. She bit her lip, staring at the two figures in front of her. One had glowing skin. These must be them... Oh, god.

"It's a simple question."Aka smiled. "My name is Aka Namida."
