You know how there are four skin types? Dry, oily, combo and normal. Well I always thought I had oily or combo, but a woman doctor told me it's dry. Dry facial skin can overcompensate to create oil, which gives it the shiny look of oily skin. When in reality it's dry.
I never knew this, it's going to be a hell of a lot of help now. .3.
Also, in your typical acne products such as Clean n Clear, ProActive, ect. They use isotretinoin, alcohol, acetone, salicylic acid, and benzoyl peroxide. This is a disaster for dry skin, as it fights the acne in the wrong way for this skin type.
She even told me that anti-aging skin products would work better on my skin. xD Damn. -
