"I swear, if you try anything, I will shoot you." I told Jake, following Nik upstairs.

I opened the door. "Oh, thank god!," I said holding my chest. She was on the fouton and snoring. I walked closer and put two fingers on her wrist. She was still asleep.

I walked into the room, seeing Nik holding Celeste for dear life. I stayed behind Jake, waiting.

I turned to Jake and Dylan. "You can pass out now," I told Jake. "Or I can knock you out again."

I clocked Jake over the head and he fell onto the floor.
" Tada." I smirked. -
I smiled at Dylan and walked over, giving him a hug and resting my head on his chest. "God Almighty, I love you."

"I love you, too." I hugged her back.

I just stayed there, enjoying the moment, but then I realized something. "We barely know anything about each other."

"What do you want to know?" I asked, slightly confused.

"Well, I mean, what did you do before the apocalypse? Did you have any siblings or friends or a girlfriend?" I sighed, exasperated. "I don't even know how old you are, for Pete's sake!

"I had a job at Taco Bell, trying to save for a car. I had a younger brother, a couple friends, a girlfriend, and I'm sixteen." I counted off the questions in my head. "Anything else?"

"Did you love her?" I was disappointed that he had a girlfriend. I had had a few boyfriends but they were all jerks and they cheated on me.

"I thought I did." I told her. I had a feeling Nik was going to get mad at me.

I nodded. There was no reason to be jealous. I looked up at Dylan and kissed him. "Please don't ever leave me," I murmured against his lips. My hands entwined themselves in his hair as I pulled him closer.

"Why would I leave you?" I asked rhetorically. It was a silly request. I could never imagine leaving Nik.
