I looked at the clock.

He glanced at the clock as well.

He looked at her.

I kissed his cheek.

He smiled.

I smiled back.

He broke out of the trance and glanced at the clock again. "Uh, it's getting kinda late, if you'd like me to go..."

I looked at him. "But I don't want you to go, that is...unless you want to leave."

He smiled. "No, I'd like to stay."

"Good." I said, leaning against his chest.

He wrapped his arms around her.

I felt something in the back of my mind say, This is a bad idea, Sky, he's a human, you're a fallen angel. Any moment he could feel your wing bones... I pushed the thoughts away and just enjoyed his warmth.

He kissed the top of her head.
