I glanced at him, and smiled faintly.

He continued to sleep.

I turned my head and looked out the window at the sun rising.

Back with the other demons, the demon reported what he'd seen. They weren't going to speak to the boss or anyone else just yet. They planned to complete their mission on their own.

I leaned my head against the couch.

They conversed, and eventually agreed on a plan.

I looked over at Mason again. He was cute when he slept. I grinned.

Mason lay on the couch, breathing softly.

I leaned my head against his shoulder.

He slowly began to wake up.

I looked at him.

He lifted his head, yawning. "Mornin'."

I smiled faintly. "Morning."

"You sleep well?" he asked.

I nodded. "Yeah, you?"
