(It was the pool.)
The demon smiled. If they needed to find a human close to the angel, he was definitely it. Now all they needed to do was speak with the human without the angel. He'd be pretty easy to trick; all humans were.
(Oh hey, guess what?) -
(I know...)
I opened one eye lazily.
(What?) -
The demon watched them for a moment.
(Started my first elective today. It was zine making. Guess what I named my zine?) -
I glanced at the window, seeing a figure standing there, or so I thought. It disappeared before I could tell.
(What did you name you zine?) -
The demon crouched down on the ground, out of the window. Had the angel seen him?
(POTATO TREE.) -
I shook a bit. What the hell was that?
(AWESOMENESS!) -
He sat there, hoping she wouldn't come to the window.
(Indeedles.) -
I looked up at Mason.

Mason lay on the couch, still asleep.

I removed his arm from around me gently and got up, going into the kitchen.

The demon sighed quietly and stood up, looking back in the window. He memorized the human's features.

I made myself a small snack.

Once he had finished, he disappeared.
Mason moved slightly in his sleep. -
I walked back into the living room, sitting down beside Mason and ate my snack quietly.

His eyes opened for a moment and he looked at her, then they closed again.
