So our fourteen year old Toyota Sienna is finally near to finished; we decided to shop around for some new cars today. It was interesting. My parents wanted to downsize, but all of the smaller cars cost a lot more... No clue why. They're used too. So, we were test driving three different versions of the same model (different years) and it was weird how different each one felt. The older models seemed more sturdy and safe, whereas the newest ones were... Odd. Except for the latest model, that was just downright awesome. So, car shopping was a success. We will be owning a maroon minivan by Monday. :3
Gee, I'm going to miss this old junker. I've practically grown up with it; the whole purpose of it being purchased was the fact that my brothers and I were all being born. So, it will be a solemn event saying goodbye to Old Car Dearest. :c -
Dx It got a bit cut off. No clue how.
And so, the salesperson who was assigned to us was overly exuberant... He was kind of a jovial man; he reminded me of Santa Claus. x3 He was so knowledgeable, but in a creepy sense that made you feel awkward around him. Looks like Mr. Claus had to resort to working at car dealerships; they must pay more cash than his previous job. -
xD Santa Claus is now a used car salesman.
Aw, I know how you feel Lanai. .3. We get so used to the things we grow up with. My mom's had her Kia van for years now. -
My dad just got rid of his Toyota Celica four years ago. He'd had it since 1992. Now he has a Rav 4, which is a sweet ride... But I miss those elements of my childhood. I can't imagine moving out. It's hard to get used to getting rid of a car, let alone living somewhere else in as little as four years.
