"I'm Amber" I say with a grin. "Oh and I'm going to need your number, in case I get lost on the way to the coffee place and I need directions." Really? Getting lost on the way there? I'm sooo stupid I keep thinking to myself.

I hop on my board and start to roll to the school, but I go at a slow pace so I can be next to Colton.

I sit down next to Colton and take out my notebook. But, I don't have a pen. Hoping that I won't have to write anything, I just get out my homework and turn it in.
