Multitasking takes practice. Pretty soon you'll think nothing of it.
I logged onto Google Maps and retrieved a map of the city. "Ready to go?" -
xD I'm usually good at it but I'm clumsy today and ya...
"Yes." -
xD
We left campus, hand in hand. I had grown up in the city, so the hustle and bustle of the streets was music to my ears. -
I looked around, a bit irritated and worried by the noise, but I could deal with it.
-
I grinned. "This reminds me of my home... Except there was a lot more people. And it was a lot harder to breathe with all of the fumes."
-
"Sounds traumatic...." I mumbled nervously.
-
I shook my head. "It wasn't, but then again, it was home. I had to deal with it."
-
"Okay." I said absentmidedly.
-
I looked ahead, down the road. There was a sign for an aquarium. I immediately wanted to go. I turned to Newton. "Do you want to check out the aquarium?" I pointed to the sign, showing a cute baby seal and dolphins. I absolutely adored marine life.
-
"Yes."
-
I grinned like a child on Christmas morning. "I can't wait to see the baby seals..." I whispered accidentally. Embarrassed, I clapped my hand to my mouth.
-
I smile slightly.
-
We reached the ticket line. I fished out some money and handed it to the man in the booth.
... 'The Man In The Booth'... That could be a horror movie... -
I glanced at him. Something about that guy made me antsy.
YESH WE NEED TO CO-AUTHOR THAT BOOK THEN MAKE IT A MOVIE. -
:O YES. We start now. In the literature forum.
The man took extra time to retrieve tickets, his bony fingers travelling at a frighteningly slow pace. I watched suspiciously. After three or four minutes, he slowly slid the tickets under the plastic arch. "Enjoy your day," he purred in a low, creepy voice.
