Yah, that's why animals can be great friends.
And I'm sorry you feel that way and there's not much you can do, but why not try and get interested in things that they like? Try to fit in, but keep liking you Asian stuff. Or just do what they do and do the stuff you like in your room or when you're alone. That way you'll be fitting in, but still doing what you like. -
I did that once when I was very young. I went with the flow and was into their music and culture and whatnot. But even then kids still didn't like me. I've never been popular or liked very well. So I try being nice and friendly to everybody even talking about stuff that I hate but they love, but they end up stabbing me in the back. So idk what to really do at this point.

The only suggestion left that I can think of is meeting more people online, talking with them more, they don't know you in real life or what you look like so you could get more friends.
But internet isn't the same as real life so it wouldn't make much of a difference.
Why not try being natural and funny? Like if you crack jokes and make them laugh, people might start to warm up to you, or if you do nice things to people, they can't help but like you.
Sorry, Idk, I kinda suck. -
You don't suck, these are problems I've had for a long while now. I have friends in real life I sometimes hang out with and we crack jokes and stuff, but it's hard for me to relate to them. I guess I'm sort of bizarre for an American, I love Europe and Asia a lot but it's a lot different here. A lot of the culture is shallow and has little substance. So I relate best to the outsider kids, the ones that listen to indie music and art. But there is little of that in Hawaii especially.
I just have to wait until I move again I guess and have a fresh start, which should happen within a month or so. -
Ya, and when you move, you could try showing the kids there what you like and let them listen to Asian Pop/Rock, and they might like it and warm up to you, if they don't, ask them what they like and show it to you, pretend to like it (And you might genuinly like it) and they might like you too.
And besides, being "Bizarre" as you would put it, isn't wrong at all. It's great beinng special and knowing that you're unique is a good thing. =) -
Yeah that sounds like a really good way to handle things when I start my new school. I like being different and I'm very open to hearing what other people are into. Truly I just want to meet some people who are genuinely nice and accepting, then it wouldn't matter what music and stuff we're into. ^.^ It's the shallow and hateful people that I'm sick of hanging around with.
-
Yah, I hate those people too, they drive me crazy. It's the inside that counts. Plus, they're losers, so don't you mind whatever they say to you.

Brb Ana.

Agreed, thanks Roady. I'm sure it'll all work out fine. I just don't handle uncertainty well. I just need to let things happen naturally and trust that it'll work out for the best.

I'm back, and your welcome Ana, you'll do great and I'm sure of it. Life always gets easier when you think it couldn't get any worse. =)
