I rummaged through my closet, trying to find something to wear to dinner. I paused at a small, form fitting back dress and smiled. "Perfect."

.......but I couldn't help it. I rushed up the stairs and opened the door to my bedroom.

I changed into the dress, then walked into te bathroom. The floor was cold on my wet feet. I did my makeup, making sure everything was blended together flawlessly.

I picked through my own closet. I became satisfied with a simple white dress shirt and black pants. Probably fancier than a torn suit jacket and jeans, right?

After finishing my makeup I set to work on my hair. I decided to straighten it, a change from its usual soft waves.

As soon as my hair was done I put on some dangly diamond earrings and a gold necklace. I smiled at myself in the mirror. I looked a lot older, maybe around 21. I couldn't wait for the date. I had killed about an hour and a half by now.

After I had gotten dressed and such it was thirty til our dinner. "Finally. God..." -
I ran into my room, grabbing my black pumps and slipped them onto my feet. I picked up my purse and tossed my hair over my shoulder. It was about a 15 minute walk to the restaurant. I headed out the door, my footsteps echoing down the halls as I exited the building.

I grinned, and headed out the door. It wasn't that cold, surprisingly.

I walked down the street, the sunset glowing a bright orange. I couldn't help but feel a bit nervous. I really cared for Ziggy; I didn't want to blow it.
