Apollo quickly met Dreg's fist against his face. Dreg punched Apollo right into a wall and yanked out his Ares-blessed waraxe.

Skye felt her eyelids slowly drooping, and she drifted off into sleep. Kyle lay down next to her, softly stroking her silky grey/blond hair, whispering softly into her ear, "I love you, Skye. You're the only reason I have hope. Your eyes... they make the stars look like they're not shining. You're amazing, Skye. I'd never let you change... ever. You're perfect.. just the way you are." He bent down and kissed her forehead, running his hand down her cheek. "I love you so much, it hurts." He lay back once again, holding her hand between his two. He wondered how much easier it would be if he was still alive. He imagined how much Skye suffered, watching him die in the driver's seat next to her. Her pleading words, her cries. She'd barely made it out alive. He was happy he was the one who died instead of her. She had so much more to live for.

"Dreg! That's not actually Apollo! He made himself invisible! That's just a dummy!" Ashlyn screamed.
Just then, Apollo teleported himself and Ashlyn away to... somewhere. -
'Aw, s---!' Dreg growled. He was once again furious. The urge to murder someone rushed back to him all at once.

Kyle watched Skye sleep. He loved the way that her face relaxed, her little girl side displayed outwardly when she was unaware of it. He remembered when he first moved to town when he was 8. They'd become immediate friends. Skye had her own issues, like her father killing her mother, and her brother being killed in a hit and run, but somehow she found time to listen to his. They'd sit for hours talking, with her doing most of the listening. He couldn't bear to be without her anymore. He vowed to find a way to become human again... Even if it was just for prom. He'd do anything for Skye to be happy. He loved her too much to see her cry.
