Christine started laughing. "Um, I could tell you but it'd be so mean..." Ivan's smile got wider.

"Aw, come on. I'm a pretty nice guy... compared to my brother Vegeta..." Tarble said.

Christine smiled. "Okie, he hates ghosts."

Tarble smirked. "Oh, I have a ton of ghost spells, hai?" he asked Amy. Amy nodded. "Hai"

"Great," Christine smiled and then heard the backdoor open. "Crap I think he's back."

"Damn" Tarble replied. Vegeta came down the stairs, a huge smile on his face. Koshou giggled when he saw Vegeta smile. "It did work!" he said happily. Tarble smiled and nodded.

Whatever it was Christine was curious to see what would happen. America came in smiling, holding a box and a card. "Hey guys, still no sign of England?" he asked.

Goku squirmed. "Uh, nope, haven't seen him all day" he said.

Alfred nodded, but looked disappointed. "Ah, okay. Well um maybe I could just wait here for a bit." He sat on the couch boredly.

Amy looked at Vegeta. "So you actually can?" she asked him. Vegeta nodded. "It's kinda weird, but yeah"

There was a loud thump from upstairs causing them to look around to see what happened when Arthur came back down the stairs. When he got to the bottom he and Alfred met eyes, complete silence overtaking the room.

Amy did not speak, she feared that she might say something wrong and upset one of the two.

"Hey, where have you been today?" Alfred finally asked, trying to keep a light smile on his face even though it was a bit awkward. Arthur just looked on and ignored his question. "Why...?" "Hm?" "Why did you have to leave?"

Vegeta was confused, but said absolutely nothing.

Alfred looked confuzzled. "Um you mean today? I went to the store and..." He kind of held up the box of chocolates and card in his hand. "I figured I'm usually a jerk on this day, I wanted to, not be." Arthur's expression changed to surprised. Then he got a hold of himself and slowly accepted the gift. "Thank you."
