Thanks for the offer. It's not that I can't do it... It's just mocking me and pissing me off... I had a solution. Then I second guessed it, being stupid and nitpicky. So I think I'll just put it to the side for now, unless you have your heart set on helping.

Okay. It's moronic though. A really simple problem that I'm over thinking. XD
- a slice of pie and fresh fruit has 540 total calories
- a bowl of ice cream and fresh fruit together have 16 fewer calories than a slice of pie.
- two bowls of ice cream and a slice of pie totals 938 calories.
How many calories are found in each dessert?
So I have:
P + f = 540 ... Solved for p: P= -f + 540
I + f = p - 16
2i + p = 938
I've gotten a variation of different solutions varying from
P= 53
F= 8
I= 508
To no solution to infinite solutions. Whenever I solve, the values I get always seem to satisfy all but one of the three equations. Elementary problem, I know. :/ -
I'm so sorry. I could probably help you with this, but it's hard to understand obver the computer.
