"Norman..." He repeated, getting used to some American names so he would remember. His eyes grew half lidded, and began feeling tired again.
-
"That's right. I suppose I'd best leave you to get some rest, eh?"
I GTG -
Okay, bai bai Angel~
He slipped into his sleep, especially as the room warmed up. -
Yo! Ana!
-
Here! :D
-
YAY! :D I'm so glad you're heeeeere! *glomp*
Norman smiled, watching over Thomas for a while. He didn't really want to leave him, but he knew that he had to. Hesitating slightly, Dr. Kaspbrak left the room. -
I'm glad you are too! *glomps back* xD
Thomas slept softly and peacefully, though his mind remained dreamless. After a couple hours his eyes fluttered open again, and he saw that the room was empty. "Hm? I wonder where he went..." -
xD It's been long, hasn't it?
After a couple of hours...
Norman stood, humming softly to himself, in a supply closet. It was a weird thing he'd had ever since he was a kid; he found that locking himself in a closet helped him to think. The unusual doctor held a sterile needle between two fingers, inspecting it carefully. -
Def, I like our soapin's.
The boy started to crawl out of bed, but realized he was attached to one of those bags of water hanging on a metal bar. He saw that it had wheels and brought it with him as he walked out into the hall. The whole place had a deserted feeling. "Norman?" He called out and walked around, his accent hinting a bit though his speech. -
Me, too.
Norman heard the young man's voice and snapped out of his trance, almost instantaniously. He quickly put the needle back in the box, opened the door and rushed outside. "Thomas?" -
He smiled and waved when he saw the other appear. He was afraid he would have been all alone. "Hi."
-
"Hello." Kaspbrak replied, breathing a sigh of relief. "A-are you alright? When I heard you calling, I got worried."
-
"Yes, I... did not know where you were." He thought for the right words. "Why is needle in me?" He pointed at his arm and the sac it was connected to.
-
"I...well, I suppose it seemed nessecary. For your case, and all." Norman replied, struggling to find a way to explain it. He never was all that good at explaining things, it sucked all the confidence right out of him.
-
He nodded softly, looking at it wearily. "It feels weird." Though he was 19, he seemed to have a childish mind.
