I read Rebekah's mind... Well, I overheard her thoughts. I wanted to reassure her that everything would be fine, but I refrained from doing do. She couldn't know what I was. It would endanger her. Having that dream was bad enough for her. I knew this wasn't right; I should leave her, give her a chance at a truly normal life... But I knew I wouldn't be capable of doing so. -
Rebekah
I sighed sadly at my thought. I walked into the house, rubbing my nose. -
I followed Rebekah inside, shutting the door behind me. Mom was at work, so I had to take matters into my own hands. I found a bottle of pain pills and took out one, also fetching a glass of water. I handed them to her. "These should help with the pain."

I nodded, taking the pill. "Thanks Cole." I getly smiled, looking down. -
Cole
I smiled. "You're welcome. You should get some rest." -
Rebekah
"Okay.." I said, heading upstairs. I walked into my room and plopped on my bed. Soon, the pills kicked in, and I was sound asleep. -
Cole
After a while I walked upstairs, pausing in the doorway of Rebekah's room. I walked in and gently placed one hand on her forehead. I shut my eyes and focused, sending some of my energy into her. I stepped back after a few seconds. The swelling around her nose had disappeared; her nose was aligned again. I stepped out, lightly closing the door behind me. -
Rebekah
About 30 minutes later, I woke up. My nose didn't hurt anymore. I felt it, and it wasn't swollen anymore. My eyes widened in shock, and I ran to a mirror. My nose was perfect again! My facial expression went to confused as I ran down the stairs. "COLE!!" I yelled happily. -
Cole
I met her at the bottom of the stairs. "Yes?" I tried to seem as though I didn't know what was going on. -
Rebekah
"My nose! It isn't swollen anymore!" I laughed, and smiled. -
Cole
I grinned. "It's a miracle, isn't it?" -
Rebekah
"Yeah... my first one ever." I hugged Cole happily. -
Cole
I hugged her back. "Believe me, there are probably more to come." -
Rebekah
"R-Really?" I smiled. -
I nodded. "I guarantee it."
