"Oh..." I said, biting my lip. "It kind of sucks when you have no friends too."

"It's just your first day, Rebekah. I'm sure things will get better."

"Not when girls always glare at me and give me looks of hatred." I muttered, looking down.

I reach across the table and took her hands in mine. "They're just jealous of you. Of your beauty, your strength... They don't know what they're doing. If they knew how wonderful you are, they'd befriend you in a heartbeat."

I blushed and giggled, smiling. "You... You really think that?"

I looked into her eyes. "Of course I do."

My breath was taken away. He was so... amazing. I held eye contact.

Our moment was interrupted by somebody clearing their throat. I reluctantly looked up, seeing Rachael standing in front of our table, holding our food.

I looked at our waitress, her face as red as a beet. She handed us our food, and stomped away. "That was rude." I said, sipping my Sprite.

I chuckled. "What was that all about?" I asked, glancing in Rachael's direction.

I shrugged, and ate some of my food.

I started to eat my Alfredo. After swallowing the food, I asked," How's your chicken parm?"

"Amazing." I grinned.

I smiled. "There's a reason they call this the best Italian restaurant in town."
