Okayy.
I walked into the new school I'd be attending. I looked around nervously, memories of my last foster family clouded my head. I hung my head down, hoping not to get yelled at. -
I was at my locker talking to my best, no only, friend. I saw a boy I didn't know walking down the hall. "Who's that?" I asked my friend pointing at him. "Ummm, he's the new kid. I think his name is Jake. He's cute." She said. I rolled my eyes, even though he was pretty cute.

I perked my head up when I glimpsed a beautiful girl talking to her friend. Damn... , I thought, but shook it off. She'd probably not like me anyways.

I swore I saw the cute guy look at me, but it was most likely me seeing things. I said by to my friend, Rose, and made my way to first period.
