I glanced up at the board, copying down the problems and doing them out on the paper. While other students were using their calculators, I had simply ignored mine, doing the math mentally.

I tried to do the problems, but I forgot my calculator, so I asked Gavin: "Hey, can I borrow your calculator for a sec?"

He found two seats next to each other and lead her in there.

I turned to Jenifer and nodded, passing her my calculator. "Sure, take it for as long as you need." I smiled, then turned back to my work.

I blushed and sat beside him.

I blushed. "Thanks" I said quietly taking his calculator.

I looked at the board and groaned. We didn't learn this crap in heaven.

"No problem," I murmured, immersed in the problems. As soon as I finished I handed it to the teacher at the front of the classroom.
"Gavin, please do number nine on the board," he said, handing me a whiteboard marker. -
I tried guessing.

I went to work, doing out my work on the board. As soon as I was finished I set the marker on the tray and sat back down, taking out my journal.

I finished the work and wordlessly handed Gavin his calculator.

I took my calculator back with a small smile. "Thanks."

I turned in my sheet.
