The speed of the snapping twigs quickened as Henri sped up as well.
"Look! Follow it! Don't let it get away!" the humans shouted, hot on his tail.
s---... They've got me cornered... He reached a cut off about 100 feet above a raging river. He let out a loud bark, hoping other animals heeded his warning to stay away. -
I heard a bark, sounded like another animal. It was a bark of warning. I feel I've heard it before. So, I jumped out the window and into wolf form, running towards the animal that needed help. To see what I could do.

He backed up to the edge of the cut-off, dirt and pebbles falling to the water below. The humans came into view, each equipped with a large shot gun. Henri's eyes darted this way and that, trying to find a way to escape, when in all reality, there was none. He barked again, this time with a more urgent warning to stay as far away as possible.

I hide behind a tree from a dstance. I saw where the bark have came from. The animal was surrounded by humans. And I could feel my pack near by. I let out a howl. The humans turned around but couldn't locate it. I waited for my pack to make the first attack...

Hayley kept running. She never looked back. Finally,she found a cave and ran into it. "They'll never find me in here!" Hayley said to herself. -

He glanced at the wolves behind the humans. He whimpered, telling them to stay away, to spare themselves. -
I howled again and me and my pack attacked. There was blood, everywhere. I meet eyes with the animal they were hunting. It was what I was, not animal, but not human.

Hayley looked out of the cave. There was no sign of humans anywhere. She shifted back into a human and slowly started walking out. "I think I'm safe..." she whispered to herself.

Henri watched as the wolves attacked the humans. After they were done, he bowed his head. Thank you. I am forever in your debt.

I told the pack to leave. What happened to you? Why'd they attack?

He met the gaze of the white wolf once more. I don't know. They might have seen me morph. I usually come out at around this time... I had a feeling they'd been watching me, but I didn't want to believe it.

I think they're onto us, I was in human form when a man came to my door and asked if I've seen any strange animals around. Did they hurt you at all? My house is a few miles away from here.
