Bleh. At least it's starting a new page
I was freezing. Stupid bus fare I thought. Why do I have to walk? . I live two miles from the school, very annoying in the winter with the snow and ice -
Tyler started on his way to school. He didn't mind the snow or ice, especially since it meant he ended up sliding into the snow accidentally. He arrived to his fifth grade classroom a few minutes early, damp from falling in the snow so often.
-
As I got to class I frowned. Great. Today we have to show the 5th grade the middle school I thought (in my school middle school starts grade 6). Why can't the 8th grade be more mature so they can give the tours?!
-
Tyler slid into his seat next to the bothersome Anna Klien. She looked at him, snorted in disgust, then returned to her work. Tyler laughed and picked a piece of snow off of his arm and threw it at her. She helped in surprise, glaring at him as he laughed so hard small tears appeared under his eyes.
-
The teacher started droning on and on about what we have to show the kids, when we show them, blah blah blah
-
Fortunately, the teacher entered the classroom after Tyler's joke. And Anna said nothing about it. She wouldn't have even had the chance. The teacher was too bust explaining about the tours that would be given of the middle school that day.

*busy
-
I almost fell asleep when I suddenly heard a book slam closed and the techer say "In conclusion, these tours should be fairly simple. Questions?"
-
Tyler had drifted off into daydreams off the snow outside. He was prepared to launch a ginormous snowball at Anna Klien when the teacher looked around at the class. "Any questions about the tours?"
Anna's hand shot up in the air. "Mrs. Roberts! Mrs. Roberts! What groups will we be in? How long are the tours?"
Mrs. Roberts sighed. "You'll find out."
(Writing the Anna parts is fun. I based her off someone in real life.) -
(I know someone named Anna. She's actually super nice)
We had to wait outside for the kids. You've got to be kidding me I thought. I warmed my hands with my breath. "Mr. Eldridge, we've been here for 10 minutes, are you sure you have the right day?" he's an old teacher, I wouldn't be surprised if he made the mistake. -
Finally, the fifth grade escaped their classroom. Anna walked with her friends, trying to be very mature. Probably to make the big kids not see her as a child. Tyler secretly hoped she'd slip on the ice.
-
I could finally see the kids walking towards the school. "Finally" I muttered under my breath.
-
Tyler made a snowball and threw it to his friend Jack, who easily caught it. It was dense enough to not crumble. Jack threw it back. Their game continued until Mrs. Roberts caught the boys. "That's enough, boys."
She raised her voice. "Class, these lovely students are going to give you the tour today.
