"Well...sometimes for certain reasons people need to be alone. Don't get me wrong I'd like to have friend or two but now after establishing that I don't really like other people much, it's kind of impossible to make a friend." I said starting to wish I hadn't bumped into Matt. That way I could have avoided this.

This conversation was getting akward. I got up to leave.

I knew I had avoided again the possibility of making a friend but really it was for the best..considering what i was. Just as he got up a pain whipped through my body and I Matts future flashed through my mind. I noticed I had fallen out of my chair and got up and left to go to my favorite tree on the quad.

She fell out of her chair then left. I rolled my eyes then went to go and sit with my friends. Even though I'm a vampire and all, it was best to fit in and make a couple friends. I couldn't stop thinking about Megan. So I decided to read her mind. She was worried, but that was all I could tell.

Matt's future interested me. It had something to do with me. But I usually didn't associate with anyone unless they were like me. Then I got it,Thats it he was like me in the sense he was a vampire
I went back to the lunch room and said,"I need to talk to you, NOW." -
I sensed her prescense before I heard her. I smiled to myself then turned to face her "Um, I'm kinda busy". I could tell she didn't care even without reading her mind. I read her mind anyway. I almost gasped. She knew what I am, and she's one too. "Plus, didn't you say you needed some alone time?" I added to cover my shock.

I could instantly tell from the look in his eyes he knew what I was talking about and what I was. I couldn't believe I'd found another one like me and sent a mental message to him,"Talk to you later." I smiled and walked off.

Apparently she also knew I was a mind reader -_- I tried to finish my luch with my friends in peace. I was dreading the 'later' in which she would talk to me. I read her mind again and I could tell she's a future seer.

From the flash I could tell where Matt would be after school so as soon as classes ended I raced to that spot and again beat him there. So Again I sat down to wait.

At the end of the day, I went to my usual spot near the big oak tree. Unfortunatly Megan was waiting for me. She still wanted to talk. I grasped onto her thought and twisted it so that she wanted to talk to the gym teacher.

When I saw Matt he gave me a funny look and the next thing I knew I was walking over to the gym a few feet away and stopped. What am I doing I thought, he must be twisting my mind. I put up mental walls so he couldn't disturb me again. I walked over to him again.

She walked back over. -Damn- I thought. I tried to change her mind again. I could feel that she had sheilded her mind. -Just gonna have to deal with it- I thought.

"Now, we're going to talk and I know that you can't avoid this forever,"I said trying to not put any of my anger of him trying to mess with me in my voice.

"Oh really?" I taunted. "What if I do this?" I asked and I ran. My mother had the gift of speed so I knew I was much faster than her.
