Sorry. Late post. Here's my charrie again-

I sat, working on a file. I thought it would be more interesting, working here. Guess not. Something flickered up on the screen. I looked at it for a moment. Don't laugh, don't laugh... I tried not to laugh. Sup? Really?
I'd heard something from my geeky older brother once about hacking. This was probably hacking. That or one of the high ranking officials was bored. If I'd listened to him, I could probably reply right now. -
Sorrow waited for a response. The military wouldn't be able to overlook that their security system wasn't strong enough. Surely they would reply soon?
She sent another message.
What a crappy security system. -
This time I couldn't help but laugh. I noticed the glares I was getting. "Wow... this person is so... um, immature," I said. I went back to my work.

Sorrow, annoyed by their lack of response, sent another message.
Don't tell me you losers have a crappy security system, and a bunch of monkeys sitting around in your technoloy department. -
I rolled my eyes, smiling a bit. I figured someone would change something eventually.

Sorrow leaned back in her chair, rubbing her temples.
"This is boring me." she muttered. She looked around at her little dorm room. She had run her roomate out monthes ago, so she had a room to herself. A secure location, where the military would never think to find a professional hacker. She decided to step it up a bit. Clicign key after key, she found the private files of the base, opening each and sending them to display over the screens with here text.
What interesting pictures. she wrote next to a bunch of photos of some sort of military misssion that she was sure she wasn't meant to see. They had to do something eventually.
"Come play with me." she chuckled. -
Suddenly the computer in front of me shut off. They were shutting down the computers, the message boards, the whole system. But before they did, a message showed up on the screen.
We don't tolerate hacking.
I realized I'd probably rather work for a hacker than here. At least the hacker had a sense of humor. -
The computer system froze, then shut down. Sorrow laughed. So she had hit their nerves.
"Don't think you're safe just yet." she smiled to herself, ejecting the disk she had saved all of the info to. She wondered if the military was considering her a threat yet. She thought about what info they might have.
They did not know her sex, her age, her name, any of that. And they couldn't hack her back- she had created her security system herself.
"Let's take some risks, then, shall we?" she looked through her endless files, and found a code to restart their computers. They would restart with the message: Not that easy. in big font. On every screen in the base. -
The computer restarted, and a message was on it. I knew what they'd tell me to do. Nothing. You're just an intern, you can't exactly offer any help. So, I continued working on what I'd been doing previously, trying to ignore the message.

Sorrow sipped at a Mountain Dew, coughing as the carbonization burned her throat.
"This stuff is horrible." she muttered.
She tapped in a new message.
Mountain Dew sucks. -
Another message appeared on the screen.
It does. -
Sorrow waited for them to find someone who could reply. She loved intimidating people. She vaguely wondered if they were even looking for someone who could reply, or if they were simply hoping she would go away.
She wouldn't.
I'll never disappear. her next message threatened. Eventually, they would have to react. A hacker in a military base was "inexcusable". Were they even slightly worried about terrorists?
