Started off in the library, parents and teachers mingling. Mr. Moore came over and told them how awesome a writer I am, then said he really liked what I wrote for Social Studies. He said it kinda tied in with his own views, and went on to say as a teacher he can't really come forth and say that. He kinda has to go "Oh, very interesting......" and walk away fist pumping xD. That made my dad curious as to, and I quote, "What the heck did you do your report on?". So I told him about how we did it on what we think America is threatened by. I said that everyone was doing Muslim Extremists, Obesity, and Drugs. Even two people doing the Zombie Apocolypse. So I decided to do mine on something no one else was doing:
Westboro Baptist Church
My dad was kinda quiet for a moment, and buurst out in a smile and gave me a high five. Both my parents were happy that I decided to express my opinion on a controversal topic. So we went downstaires and looked at all the different posters. I happily noted that my poster was getting alot of attention, but the zombie posters were, as well.
Then at seven, advanced choir went back upstaires to to a quick warmup for Dad Threw The TV Out The Window. (xD Yeah, I know......) We performed in the library, everyone clapped, and we went home.
We also learned about The Young Authors Competition that my mom wants me to look into, since she knows being published is one of my dreams. She's really focused on helping me and my sister accomplish so much in life, and she barely focuses on her own problems. It almost makes me want to cry. -
sounds awesome :D
